Easter Weekend Set Menu
Annually during the month of April.
Celebrate Easter weekend at Riwaz with a curated lunch set menu offering a varied selection of dishes across each course (£29 per person), served from 15th to 18th April 2022.
Menu highlights include tandoori chicken tikka enriched with cream, cheese, and cardamom; grilled minced lamb kebab served with peppers, feta, rocket, and a mint dressing; roasted poussin in a velvety makhani sauce; and Lake District lamb rump with cumin potatoes and rich rogan jus. To conclude your meal, enjoy tempting desserts such as chocolate fondant, Mango Bhapa Doi, or spice-roasted pineapple.
Our lunch offerings combine complex spices with heritage recipes, including dishes passed down from Chef Kochhar’s grandmother. Alongside our à la carte options, guests can enjoy this three-course set menu.
For an authentic evening feast, our à la carte menu features distinctive regional specialities such as Kali Mirch Aur Adraki Jungli Murg (guinea fowl curry with ginger and cracked black pepper), Chowk Ki Bhalla Papri Chaat (crisp poori with lentil dumplings, chilled yoghurt, date, and tamarind chutney), Gressingham duck kothu served with quail egg and Malabar paratha, and tandoori paneer butter masala simmered in a creamy tomato and fenugreek sauce.
Our gourmet Seven-Course Tasting Menu (£65 per person, available Sunday to Thursday early evenings) offers an immersive exploration of Indian culinary traditions, featuring tandoor-seared Scottish scallops (Jalpari) and Malai Chandi Tikka (succulent grilled chicken in a delicate cream marinade).
Every dish pays homage to Chef Kochhar’s heritage and the distinct regional subcultures of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Odisha.
